Mafia Madness
The other night I pulsed about Xanga adding a Mafia Wars application. I didn't explain that thought, so I am taking a moment to do so now.
You see, every few months a Xangan comes along who raises the eyebrows of about half of the community. This person is brash, opinionated, hellbent on creating drama and seeking attention. When we are lucky, this person is smart and worth liking in the end. When aren't so lucky, the person just becomes an annoyance. One thing is for sure, though: the person always catches our attention.
We blog about him, comment about him, message one another about him. (This isn't to say it's always a "him" either. Some of the ones who have annoyed me most have been "her"s.)
Back to the point: I think Mafia Wars would be perfect for this situation. We could join Don Dan's mafia and ice the sucka who dares attack thetheologianscafe. We could join Don Paul's mafia and ice random people who piss us off. We could join Don Dave's mafia and ice the ones who only think they are funny. (I wouldn't last long unfortunately since I am not funny at all!) Don SaintVi's mafia could ice the folks who are just plain idiots. The possibilities are endless, and Xanga flame wars could be solved easily.
For that matter, any Xanga war could be solved. Once someone is iced: they lose. The end. Plus, instead of all this blogging about other bloggers business, we can put people on the hitlist. I like it.
What say you? Mafia Wars on Xanga?

I'm actually Don DaVinci in Mafia Wars. Level 191 Mogul. I have a Mafia that is 473 strong as of today. We have offices in Moscow, New York, and Cuba.

I'm Tommy"Two Times" level 217 Mogul. So yeah, I'd totally be up for giving the annoying ones of Xanga a "inspiration" to not be quite so annoying, so annoying.
I am so out of it.Those that annoy me I either delete or stop reading. Oh, well, I guess I'm just to old to give a darn.
I try to avoid Mafia Wars on Facebook like it's the plague, but it might have a place here on Xanga!

Since I am still confused, and my mouse sense tells me that I'd be a gonner if folks started shooting, I'll pass and go hide behind my cheese. Tell me when the coast is clear.

@Da__Vinci - @The44thHour - Okay, since you guys are higher levels than I am, and since I am still figuring it out, is there a way to add mafia without adding those people as FB friends? I don't want random people to view my FB page, but I wouldn't mind more mafia.

@TheBigShowAtUD - I just responded to this comment in my latest blog. (It's just a rambling. I didn't tag you because I am too lazy to mess with that at 4:25 in the morning. haha!) In short, I said that I think what you are aiming at is that you want to be the godfather. I can deal with that. lol. Missed you, btw. Hope all is well!
@Krissy_Cole - Nope, you have to have them as friends I think. I just hide them on my home page.
@Krissy_Cole - Yeah, Da_Vinci is right, you have to be FB friends. But, after you join the Mafia, you can delete the FB friendship and still have them in your mafia. Just be sure not to click "Delete non Facebook friends from my mafia" button and you'll be alright. :)
